BEST PRACTICES



COTTAGE STAY
Final year Home Science students underwent cottage stay experience in three batches. The duration of the programme was from 9th November, 2019 to 29th November, 2019. The main objective of cottage stay was group living, decision making, account keeping and management of available resources. Students performed various duties such as Cook, Maid, Waitress, Hostess, Treasurer and their assistants during the stay.





NUTRI-EATERY

III B.Sc. H.Sc students were given an experience of organizing ‘Nutri-Eatery’ low cost and nutritious recipe preparation on 3rd, August, 2019. The students were encouraged to prepare 10 different items and were able to gain marketing skills and quantity cooking. The experience makes them to learn techniques of doing business to empower themselves. And it is also an activity undertaken as part of Breast Feeding Week celebrations.

The students were encouraged to prepare 10 different items and were able to gain marketing skills and quantity cooking. The experience makes them to learn techniques of doing business to empower themselves.
