2019-2020

Home Science students organized Mehandi and Temporary tattoo stall in mission fete. Students were very much interested to have temporary tattoo in different styles. They were given chance to select their own design and the same was depicted on their forearm. It was very successful stall of mission fete and highly remunerative. 

Students participation in various activities

G.Padmaja of II. B.Sc Home Science participated in an essay writing competition and won III prize on the topic –“Integrity-Definition and Importance” conducted by Andhra Bank.

S.Lahari of II. B.Sc Home Science participated in an elocution competition on the topic-“Integrity the way of life” Which was conducted by LIC. 

On 8^th November 25, 2019, V.N.B.Sailaja, A.Priyanka, Ch.Suma Srivalli of I.B.Sc Home Science participated in group singing at Gurajada Uthsavalu and won II prize.

On 16^th November, 2019 B.Kiranmayi of II B.Sc H.Sc participated in district level youth services in MOCK parliament organized by SETWELL.

On 17^th & 18^th November 2019, A.Priyanka of I.B.Sc H.Sc participated in Chess Competition and won third prize organized by Adikavi Nannaya University meeting cum selections, held at Aditya Degree College for Women, Kakinada.

    On 14^th November, 2019 the students of III B.Sc Home Science attended a guest lecture on the topic “Personal Hygiene-Hand wash practices”. The resource person of the program was Mrs.D.Rose Mary, District Nursing Officer, District Medical and Health Office (DMHO).

  

     Kritika Jain of III B.Sc. Home Science participated in Lambadi folk dance in Youth Festival Cultural Competitions organized by Sir.C.R.R.College, Eluru on 6^th December, 2019.

    Kritika Jain of III B.Sc. Home Science participated and won I Prize in Lambadi folk dance in EDU-POWWOW 2019 Competitions organized by Dr.C.S.N Degree and Pg College, Bhimavaram on 20^th December, 2019.

    J.Pavana Sai and B.Kiranmayi of II B.Sc. Home Science participated in “Mehandi” Academia Competition conducted by Department of Home Science at College level and won I and III Prizes respectively.

    M.Amreen, K.Reshma priya, I.Likhitha sai of III B.Sc. Home Science participated in “Wealth from Waste” Academia Competition conducted by Department of Social Sciences at College level.

    B.Kiranmayi, K.Yoshita, B.Uhsa Rani, B.Navya Sudha, G.Prathyusha, K.Ganga Parameswari, G,Padmaja of II B.Sc Home Science Participated in NSS Camp by Creating  awareness on Kishori Vikasam in 10 different colleges and schools along with three adopted villages from 24^th to 30^th January 2020.

    S.S.L.S.N.Lahari of II B.Sc Home Science participated and won III prize  in Elocution competition on the topic “Disha Act” organized by Women Cell on 15^th February 2020.

    S.Prasanna Lakshmi of I.B.Sc Home Science participated in Food without Fire organized by Applied Sciences Department as a part of Nutrition Week Celebrations in the month of September, 2019.

    Ch.Saraswathi of I B.Sc Home Science participated and won III prize in Elocution competition on the topic “Google or Guru” organized by English Department in the month of August, 2019.

    A.Priyanka of I B.Sc. Home Science participated and won I prize in group folk dance in Youth Festival Cultural Competitions organized by Dr.C.S.N Degree and Pg College, Bhimavaram on 19^th December, 2019.

    I.Likitha Sai of III B.Sc Home Science participated and won I Prize in Flower Carpet competition organized by Botany Department as a part of Botany Week Celebrations.

    Kritika Jain of III B.Sc. Home Science participated and presented poster on the topic “Women Empowerment” in Thailand in the month of November, 2019.

    Ch.Lakshmi Priya, J.Joyce, T.Sahitya, Ch.Suma, K.P.Gayathri, B.Bhavishya, M.Divya, K.Chandana of I B.Sc Home Science participated in Spell-B competition organized by Departrment of English on 15^th February, 2020.

    J.Joyce of I B.Sc Home Science won II Prize in Spell-B competition organized by Department of English on 15^th February, 2020.

    M.Anusha, M.Suguna, Ch.J.Lahari, P. Bhavana, S.S.L.S.N.Lahari, P.Dhanya Deepika, N.Pratyusha of II B.Sc Home Science visited different places like stabilizer unit, Beehive unit of Agriculture and horticulture research section, Vipasana Meditation Centre at Vijayarai organized by Centre for Women Studies on 17^th February, 2020.

    B.Kiranmayi, K.Yoshita, B.Navya Sudha, G.Prathyusha, K.Ganga Parameswari, G,Padmaja of II B.Sc Home Science visited Police grounds for attending a guest lecture on “Defense Mechanism” organized by NSS on 18^th February 2020.

    P. Dhanya deepika of II B.Sc H.Sc served as a leader of a student group named as Durga Bhai Deshmukh, one of the groups in Centre for Women Studies.
